Mecanova has been a forerunner in the development of quality assurance and environmental systems.

Det Norske Veritas awarded Mecanova the ISO 9002 quality certificate in 1996. We continue to improve our operations with the Six Sigma techniques, for example. The quality production ability of the process is measured with ongoing measurements and control.

Environment

Mecanova was awarded the ISO 14001 environmental certificate in 1999, one of the first in the field in Finland. Today, attending to environmental concerns is part of our everyday activity.

Recycling, careful utilisation of raw materials, and minimising energy consumption and emissions are principles by which everyone at Mecanova contributes to sustainable development.
